Hello, it’s nice to meet you! I’m Joannie Amaro, a graphic designer. I have experience in magazine layout, social media content, and printing designs. I’m proficient in Adobe apps such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe XD, and After Effects, and I’m also skilled in Procreate and Procreate Dreams. Before my graphic design undergrad, I was involved in the art industry at places like The Walker Art Center, HighPoint Printmaking, and the Oxbow School in Napa, California. Graphic design, for me, is about creating art for the public eye. My goal is to better understand companies from a business standpoint through my master’s degree, and eventually, I plan to expand my knowledge in web design with a certificate in XD/UI design.
